HARDWORK EARNS GOWLA ANOTHER PODIUM
Round 8 of the British Supersport Championship was held on the GP circuit at Brands Hatch in Kent. The qualifying format for this round had been changed to three free practice sessions and only one qualifying session, which was broadcast live on British Eurosport.
The free practice sessions were held under variable conditions, i.e damp, wet and dry, so setting the bike up for qualifying was difficult as the weather was changeable, however it stayed dry for one and only timed session and Gowla posted the third quickest time which was also under the world lap record.

GOWLA TAKES MAIDEN WIN IN BRITISH SUPERSPORT AT SNETTERTON
Graeme 'Gowla' Gowland took his first victory of the season at round 7 of the Fuchs Silkolene British Supersport Championship on the PTR Honda at Snetterton, Norfolk following an intense battle with series leader Sam Lowes of GNS Racing.
The weekend had been hectic in the build up to Sunday's race due to track problems which resulted in their first qualifying session being stopped after 12 minutes and all times erased so that everything was down to one good qualifying session on Saturday afternoon. Gowla put some fast times in early in the session and then waited in pit lane until the final 10 minutes. He then went back out to post his fasted lap time of the session to take 3rd on the grid before having to retire to the pits with an electrical and mechanical problem in the closing stages.

DIFFICULT RAIN LASHED RACE AT KNOCKHILL
PTR Honda rider Graeme 'Gowla' Gowland had to settle for 8th place and 8 points in round 6 of the British Supersport Championship held at the Knockhill circuit in Fife after torrential rain and blustery winds made conditions difficult for the race.
It was a disappointing end to the weekend after what had been a good build up held under dry conditions when Gowla had qualified 4th on the front row behind Championship leader James Westmoreland, Glen Richards and Billy McConnell. Gowla and his team had worked hard and he had a great set up and race pace ahead of Sunday's race after running the most consistent lap times in every session.

TOP 6 RACE RESULT AFTER QUALIFYING HIGHSIDE
Mallory Park in Leicestershire was the venue for round 5 of the British Supersport Championship. Graeme 'Gowla' Gowland was on the pace from the start of the weekend, constantly running in the top 6 during the free practice sessions.
Qualifying session one started well with Gowla running in the top four before a slower rider waiting for a tow on the racing line caused him to crash with only minutes to go. The second and final qualifying saw Gowla's day come to a premature end after he highsided on the exit of Devils Elbow at over 100 mph. Gowla was lucky to escape with just a grazed forearm thanks to his RST leathers, but his machine was not so lucky as it hit the tyre wall at well over 60mph damaging the whole front end with the forks and frame beyond repair. He was only pushed back to 7th place in combined qualifying due to his fastest time in the first qualifying session.

DISAPPOINTING END TO OULTON AFTER TOP 2 PACE
Allendale's Graeme 'Gowla' Gowland looked to be a strong contender at round 3 of the British Supersport Championship at the Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire having been at the sharp end in both free practice and qualifying to take 2nd behind Came Yamaha's Billy McConnell and ahead of series leader James Westmoreland. However the inclement weather and another rider were to stop his unbeatable form.

GOWLAND GAINS CONFIDENCE AT BRANDS HATCH
PTR'S Graeme Gowland finished a superb fifth at the opening round of the British Supersport Championship at Brands Hatch on Bank Holiday Monday 5th April.
Gowla qualified 7th on the grid on his debut in the very competitive British Supersport Championship but after former Champion Glen Richards crashed whilst racing in the Superstock 1000 class earlier in the day Gowla moved up a place on the 38 rider strong grid.
Gowla got a storming start when the lights went out at the beginning of the 26 lap race and was running second in the early stages. Gowla dropped back to sixth as he took time to get to grips with a new rear tyre. As the grip reduced he became more comfortable with his PTR Honda and started to close back in on the leaders and was setting faster lap times than those ahead.
